DESCRIPTION:1st Floor \nAward Winners XXVIMay 28 – August 16\, 2026 \nAward Winners XXVI brings together the 2026 recipients of the Delaware Division of the Arts Individual Artist Fellowships in a vibrant\, multidisciplinary exhibition that highlights the depth and diversity of creative practice across the state. Selected through a rigorous\, blind review process conducted by out-of-state arts professionals\, twenty-seven artists were recognized for exceptional work spanning visual arts\, music\, literature\, media arts\, and interdisciplinary forms. Fellowships are awarded at the Master\, Established\, and Emerging levels\, acknowledging both artistic excellence and continued growth at every stage of a creative career. \nThis exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the work of Delaware’s most compelling contemporary artists in one space. From conceptually driven installations and finely crafted works on paper to experimental media and narrative-driven pieces\, Award Winners XXVI captures a wide range of artistic voices and approaches. Together\, the works reflect not only individual achievement\, but also the evolving cultural landscape of the region. \nRepresenting communities across Delaware\, the Fellows bring distinct perspectives shaped by personal experience\, place\, and practice. Their work explores themes ranging from identity and history to innovation\, storytelling\, and the boundaries of artistic expression. The result is a dynamic and engaging exhibition that invites visitors to discover new artists\, revisit familiar names\, and gain insight into the creative energy driving the state’s arts community today. \nPresented annually\, the Division’s fellowship program remains one of the most significant forms of recognition for artists in Delaware. DESCRIPTION:1st Floor \nBiggs Members Show \nJULY 9 – SEPTEMBER 6\, 2026\nThe Biggs 2026 Members’ Show celebrates the artists who make up our creative community\, highlighting the talent\, perspectives\, and artistic practices of the individuals who help shape The Biggs. The exhibition reflects the strong sense of connection and shared ownership between the Museum and the artists\, members\, and supporters who continue to engage with and inspire its mission.  \nThis year’s exhibition received more than 360 submissions and was juried by a panel of arts professionals.  The final selection contains painting\, photography\, sculpture\, jewelry\, woodworking\, quilting\, mixed media\, and more\, showcasing the depth of artistic practice thriving throughout Delaware and the surrounding region.  \nThe exhibition will highlight both longstanding members and emerging voices while continuing to foster new relationships within the local arts community. More than a showcase of artwork\, The Biggs 2026 Members’ Show will serve as a reflection of the people who make the Museum an active and evolving cultural space.  \nThe Museum is proud to provide a platform that uplifts and supports the artists and members who support The Biggs year-round\, creating space for artistic expression\, shared experiences\, and meaningful creative connection.
