America's Tapestry Project: Delaware Panel

"Join us for an inspiring, hands-on journey as Delaware takes its place in America’s Tapestry — a nationwide project honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States. Each month, tapestry makers gather to stitch a collaborative work of art that tells the story of Delaware’s people, history, and spirit. You can sign up through the America’s Tapestry website to help create the Delaware panel yourself, adding your stitches to this historic piece. Or simply stop by the museum for free each month to watch the process in action, meet the artists, and see the tapestry grow over time. When complete, Delaware’s panel will be displayed alongside panels from all pariticpating states in Virginia during the nation’s official Semiquincentennial celebration."
