Biggs Museum of American Art is seeking a talented and creative mural artist to design and execute a temporary indoor mural that will transform our space and engage our community. This project offers a unique opportunity to showcase your artistic vision in a high-traffic public setting.
Project Details:
- Location: Biggs Museum of American Art, 406 Federal St, Dover , DE
- Theme: Open to creative ideas (It would be nice to tie to the Biggs Collection & our community but it’s not a necessity)
- Dimensions: 28 X 7 Feet: (Landscape)
- Medium: Temporary, non-damaging materials (e.g., removable paint, vinyl, or other adaptable media)
- Timeline: Project Installation to begin Mid-April.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Open to all local artists – may be an individual or a group. Schools are encouraged to apply.
- Must use non-permanent materials suitable for an indoor environment
- Ability to complete the project within the designated timeline
- Willingness to collaborate with our team and incorporate community input if applicable
