Springboard Collaborative: I Love Bad Art Studio Exhibition
November 5 – December 14, 2026
Discover the power of creativity, connection, and resilience through Springboard Collaborative: I Love Bad Art Studio Exhibition, featuring artwork created by residents of Springboard Delaware’s Georgetown Pallet Village.
Through paintings, drawings, journals, and mixed-media works, this exhibition offers a personal look at the experiences, perspectives, and creative journeys of individuals navigating homelessness. Each piece tells a unique story, demonstrating how artistic expression can foster healing, build confidence, and create meaningful connections.
The artwork emerges from Springboard Delaware’s Healing Arts Program, located within its Georgetown Navigation Center. At the heart of the program is the I Love Bad Art Studio, a welcoming space led by resident artists John Wanner and Juan Cantu, where participants are encouraged to explore their creativity without judgment or expectations. Through artmaking, residents find opportunities for self-expression, personal growth, and community building.
The studio also brings together residents, local artists, and members of area art leagues who volunteer their time to create alongside participants, share techniques, and exchange ideas.
